Margo received a B.S. in Graphic Design from the University of Cincinnati in 1993. While at UC, she did several student internships: the American Stock Exchange in NYC, Clifford Selbert Design in Boston and Fitch Richardson Smith in Columbus.

She then moved to NYC where she got her first job as a junior designer at Mobium Corporation (a design firm which was owned by R.R. Donnelley and Sons) working on annual reports and financial brochures for about 2 years.

It was designing on Net.Chick with Georgia that got Margo interested in moving on into the freelance world which she stayed in for about 5 years. During that time she worked on various book projects at home such as L.A. Bizarro, Bombshells and Glamour Girls.

She also freelanced for many small graphic design firms including Parham Santana, Lisa Klausing Design, Dekker Babian, Baseline Design and New York University.

In 1999 Margo joined with Georgia to form Pink Design, Inc. After 5 successful years as a 2-woman company she is ready to move her office back to Brooklyn and work again as a freelance graphic designer.

Georgia received a B.A. in Art History from Swarthmore College in 1991.

She then moved to San Francisco, where she interned for and subsequently was hired by MONDO 2000 magazine. She spent 2 years with the publication.

Freelancing started with Cups magazine (a café journal); as well as The Happy Mutant Handbook, Georgia's first book project.

After moving to NYC in 1995, she was hired as the art director for New Video (art directing and designing video box packaging for, predominantly, A&E programs).

Moving to the web world, Georgia become the designer and art director for stim (a weekly online magazine, dedicated to "offstream pop culture" - back in the heyday of web ventures).

After STIM ended, Georgia returned to freelancing. She designed Star Wars Kids Magazine (for 20 issues); as well as Deal With It!, the book for girls from gURL.com; some interactive articles for the CD-Rom magazine, Blender; and more.

In 1999, Georgia and Margo started Pink Design, Inc. It was a great experience running a company together, but after 5 years they are ready for a change. They will both continue to design for a variety of clients, but as individual designers.

These days Georgia can be found in Long Island City, where she starting a new graphic design company called Georgia Rucker Design in an old factory building.
